a gift for joe

so, we decided this year to try and give gifts that were mainly either re-used, re-cycled, or handmade. i drew my Uncle in the secret santa and i decided to make him some reusable grocery bags for part of his gift. in total there will be 1 big one and 2 smaller ones that fit inside (for those smaller grocery stops).

i just finished the bigger one. i still have to sew the handles on to the smaller ones, but they should be finished tonight.

a bit about them...they are different shades of blue. they are all made of cotton canvas and are fully lined. the little bicycle patch is from Earth's General Store on Whyte Ave. and is on all 3 of the bags.

i really wanted to make something for him that was a bit more personal and more stylish than the ones you can buy for a dollar at the store. i hope he likes them...
