she's a little weird, but i love her

today is me and maddie's laundry day.
after the laundry is washed. it is dried.
i put it away. and maddie plays in it.

today i went in to her room to put some of her stuff away. leaving her, of course, throwing the rest of the clean laundry around the room. it's like a little game now. i fold. and she sees how many articles of clean clothing she can shovel out of the laundry basket. when i came back from her room...i found...THIS.

the last day of summer

sad. today is the last day of summer. it seems like it went by so fast. or maybe it was that we had such a rainy summer, with a week of sun, and then overnight it turned to fall. the fall chill is already in the air. we decided to take maddie to the park today just in case this chilly air turns to snow faster than we may want it to. we got some really great pictures out of it.
